Active Technology Outdoors

Active Technology Outdoors incorporates information technologies into activities such as orienteering, rogaining and bushwalking.

Students can learn how to:

  • read a map.

  • use a compass.

  • choose a good walking route.

  • use a digital camera.

  • use a UHF radio.

  • use a GPS and

  • stay safe.

Students can prepare for Activie Technology Outdoors by completing our GPS WebQuest.
