Special Education Programs

Sample

Maroon OEC prides itself on being flexible in its planning and delivery of opportunities for your students.

Programs for students with special needs typically range from one to four days. Some program activities might include: catapults, exploratory walks, aquatic activities such as swimming, raft building and canoeing, campout, low ropes and high challenge activities.

Maroon OEC Facilities

A variety of resources have been developed specifically for use by special needs groups during these activities. These include: a modified canoeing chair, mobile ramp for access to group activities, a Here and There seat and a ground level challenge course.

Four of our nine cabins have ramp access and are outfitted with wheelchair access bathrooms, enabling students to access toilet and shower facilities.
